The Story Behind Little Bus
Every home has a story, and Little Bus began with a childhood dream.
Many years before Little Bus became a homestay, it existed only in the imagination of a little girl. Our elder daughter, who loved art, crafts, and creative adventures, often dreamed of having a small shop of her own. While playing and imagining her future, she gave her dream venture a unique name — Little Bus.
Years later, when we decided to open our beautiful heritage 3-bedroom home to travelers and transform it into a homestay, we searched for a name that felt warm, meaningful, and personal. During those discussions, the name Little Bus resurfaced, bringing with it memories of innocence, dreams, and family bonds.
A bus is a place where journeys begin, stories are shared, friendships are formed, and people from different backgrounds travel together. Likewise, Little Bus Homestay is a cozy space where travelers pause during their journeys, connect with loved ones, share meals, exchange stories, and create memories that stay with them long after they leave.
What started as a little girl's dream has now become a welcoming home for guests from around the world — a place filled with warmth, hospitality, laughter, and meaningful experiences.

Local & Organic
Our kitchen sources fresh produce from local farmers and organic gardens. Every meal celebrates the flavours of Rajasthan without harming the land.
Water Conservation
We use rainwater harvesting, low-flow fixtures, and guest education to minimise water usage — a precious resource in Rajasthan's arid climate. We use double filtration RO water purifier to avoid wastewater going in the drain.
Artisan Support
Every textile, painting, and craft in our homestay is sourced directly from local Rajasthani artisans, supporting traditional crafts and fair livelihoods. We organise visits for workshops and hands-on -experience about local arts and crafts like block priniting, lacquered bangle making, blue pottery, thus creating memorable experiences for our guests and helping in earning livelihood to local artisans.
Plastic-Free Stay
We've eliminated single-use plastics across the property — from refillable amenity bottles to cloth bags and clay water bottles, eco-friendly cleaning amenities and bio-degradable bathroom amenities. Double filtration RO water purifier to save waste water drainage, segregation of waste and making home compost from kitchen wet waste.
